I bought RAC breakdown cover through Quidco, an online cashback company. This offered a year’s cover for £5 instead of the standard £28. I paid £28 and should have received a £23 refund from Quidco but the company told me my transaction had been declined by the RAC and it was too late to do anything. GT, Edinburgh
Reading the terms and conditions would have paid off. Had you done so you would have seen that the cashback is not available to anyone who sets up monthly payment for breakdown cover by direct debit, which is what you had done, because the policy can be cancelled after the cashback has been paid, leaving RAC with a loss. A new report issued by Georgetown University Health Policy Institutes Center for Children and Families revealed that the U.S. health care coverage has increased, specifically for children. In the past three years, children without health insurance has dropped by 1 million. This number also incorporates the increased number of children living in poverty due to the the challenging economy.
Accessible Medicaid Eligibility Requirements
According to the report, one reason that health care increased over the past few years for children is due to state government.

From credit bottlenecks in Eastern Europe to slower growth in China, delays in tackling the euro zones debt crisis are causing ever-greater economic and financial damage well beyond the borders of the 17-nation bloc.

WASHINGTON—-The Department of Veterans Affairs’ Life Insurance Program has once again validated, through a renowned independent survey, that Veterans and their beneficiaries are very highly satisfied with the service they receive.

The U.S. remains on track to spend twice as much for health care as for food, yet millions are without insurance or uninsured. “Health insurance premiums also continue to rise on average another 9 percent in 2011,” says Merton Bernstein, JD, leading health insurance expert and the Walter D. Coles Professor of Law Emeritus at Washington University in St. Louis. “Medical care costs can change direction if policy makers stop whistling past a significant contributor non-benefit costs.” Bernstein details the numerous stages of the process for billing medical care services and the processing of these bills by insurers in his current Health Affairs piece, “Pay Attention to Health Insurance Non-Benefit Costs.” He estimates, using Best’s Insurance data, that about one billion non-Medicare billings are processed yearly.
